Dear Expectant Mother and Family,

We are honored to introduce ourselves as Terry and Sally. We want to thank you for choosing life and for taking the time and interest in looking at our portfolio. We believe it takes great courage, love, and strength to make an adoption plan for your child. We hope our portfolio will answer some questions you have about us. We wish you all the best as you embark on this journey. Our sincere wish is for you to make a decision that is right for you and your child, one that you will be comfortable with and find peace with in years to come.



After dating for 3 years, we were married on August 14, 1999. We began fertility treatments in 2003 and after multiple tries, we were unsuccessful in conceiving a child on our own. Although we were sad, there has also been great joy knowing we have had a lot of precious time together and we have had time to establish a strong marriage of commitment, love and devotion. As time has passed, we can now see that God is calling us to be adoptive parents. Through prayer and trust in God’s timing, we feel content and secure to be a couple that is waiting to adopt a child.


We love to spend time together whether it’s camping around Michigan, traveling the shoreline, working around the house, or going to a baseball game. We have worked very hard to establish a loving, healthy, and strong marriage, which we plan to use as a solid foundation for a happy family. We will provide a home filled with love, laughter, trust, affection, adventure, and opportunity. This is how we live our lives and we can’t wait to pass that on to a child. We look forward to the day we can take a child to the butterfly garden, the zoo, and Lake Michigan. 


We are surrounded by a loving and supportive network of family and friends. Each of these people offers us different gifts and talents that we appreciate and respect. We enjoy and look forward to campfires with family, holiday gatherings, and game night with our friends. Our friends and family are excited about our plans to adopt. There is no doubt a child in our home will receive love and affection from so many different people.
