Program Revenue and Expenses

St. John's Home is a private agency that has two primary revenue sources; government and private funds. The Residential and Host Home Programs receive state funding based on a per diem rate. KidsFirst is primarily Kent County funded. Discovery charges fees for services, the only St. John's Home program with fee paying clients.

However all of these funding sources do not provide the level of services these kids deserve. About 20% of the total budget is from private individuals, foundations and corporations.
